Sweet business
What exactly is the Fit Cake franchise about?
The Fit Cake franchise model centers around operating production and sales venues in the form of non-pastry shops, offering products made from the highest quality ingredients. Our fit cafes independently produce sugar-free, gluten-free, vegan, or keto-friendly treats.
What is the advantage of the Fit Cake franchise system over other concepts?
Our advantage lies in a loyal customer base that purchases our products not only for taste and quality but also because they meet their dietary restrictions. Individuals with diabetes, gluten intolerance, or those following a keto diet comprise our most loyal customer group.
What are the locations, in which countries?
Currently, we have close to 80 venues spread across Poland, Austria, Sweden, Romania, Spain, and Malta.
What does one need to do to become a Fit Cake franchisee?
Recruitment begins with a direct phone conversation with the owner of the FIT CAKE brand, emphasizing the partnership within the FIT FAMILY. Prospective partners then receive a summary via email in the form of a presentation. If both parties agree that cooperation will yield the intended results, operational actions related to location analysis and establishment of a FIT CAKE venue ensue.
What are the basic requirements to open a franchise?
To open a franchise, the main requirement is a suitable location determined through joint search and analysis with the Partner. Approval of FIT CAKE technology is necessary for the location project, which then enters the design phase. Other requirements include venue size (30-130 square meters), city population (above 10,000 inhabitants), franchisee budget (minimum 40,000 EUR), designated venue for gastronomy with proper ventilation, parking space for 2-3 cars, and the possibility of creating an outdoor seating area as an added advantage.
What is the required financial investment?
Financial requirements vary based on whether the franchisee takes over an existing café or establishes a venue from a developmental state, ranging between 40,000 to 240,000 EUR. Franchise fees within the EU are divided into two categories: initial, one-time fees starting from 10,000 EUR for smaller locations, and monthly fees of 500 EUR.
How does the franchisor assist the franchisee at the beginning?
At the outset, the franchisor provides comprehensive assistance, including expert guidance in selecting suitable locations, legal assistance in lease agreement examination, preparation of venue layout by the technology team, graphical representation of venue design by the project department, and competitive proposals for renovation work by the construction department. The franchisee also benefits from discounts on furniture and technical equipment procurement. Training sessions for the entire team are conducted in the partner's native language, and community-building efforts on social media platforms are initiated by the marketing department. Following the opening, a dedicated HELP LINE 24/7 is available for any queries.
Does the franchisee bake the cakes on-site, or are they provided by the franchisor?
All production is carried out in the FIT CAKE venue. The creation of fresh pastries in the café's kitchen contributes to the atmosphere and generates a delightful aroma for customers, ensuring freshness compared to frozen products found in traditional establishments.
How does it work in practice, and what does the franchisee need to do themselves versus what the franchisor provides?
The franchisee independently handles operations, deciding the daily display in the window to cater to local needs. Recipes are provided in simple language, and the production process requires no prior skills. Innovative training sessions ensure everyone can learn.
What are the expected potential revenues?
Cafés within the EU typically generate around 25,000 EURin turnover, with planned profits in a well-located café estimated at around 7,000 EUR.
What are the plans for the future?
The plan involves expanding to 300 locations by 2030.
