Scientific Kitchnette is an educational program designed for children aged 5 to 8, introducing the basics of chemistry, physics, and biology in a simple and engaging way. The concept is built on the belief that imagination plays a key role in learning, transforming natural curiosity into structured knowledge. Developed by experts from the University of Belgrade with support from the Innovation Fund of the Republic of Serbia, the program aims to help children understand scientific principles not through memorisation, but through observation, experimentation, and active participation. The methodology includes guided discussions, demonstration-based exercises, hands-on experiments, logic tasks, and educational group games that turn play into structured learning.

Structured educational system and programme design

The Scientific Kitchnette program is built on a clear and measurable structure. It includes 120 hours of total learning, delivered through 75-minute weekly workshops over two six-month stages, covering both basic and advanced levels. Each group is limited to up to 10 children, ensuring a highly personalised learning environment. Educators working within the system are certified and trained in the proprietary methodology, while all teaching materials, including workbooks and laboratory kits, are standardised across the network. The program is also fully adapted to early childhood education needs and supported by a structured curriculum that helps children gradually build scientific understanding in a practical and accessible way.

Franchise model, investment and international expansion

The Scientific Kitchnette franchise operates with a growing international presence, including units in Serbia, North Macedonia, Germany (Offenbach), and Croatia, with additional development ongoing. The system has also been translated into four languages: English, German, Croatian, and Macedonian, confirming its adaptability to different markets. The franchise requires a minimum investment starting from 34,000 PLN, with a total estimated investment range of €8,000 to €25,000, depending on setup and equipment. The initial franchise fee ranges from €5,000 to €20,000, with a 10% monthly royalty fee and no separate marketing fee. Franchisees receive full operational support, including training, branding guidelines, teaching materials, marketing tools, and ongoing assistance from the central team.

The franchise is designed for locations of approximately 80 m², equipped for small group learning with modular classroom setups and basic laboratory infrastructure. Scientific Kitchnette also expands its offer through “Scientific Birthdays,” a two-hour interactive format featuring multiple experiments for groups of 20 to 30 children, further strengthening brand engagement and educational outreach.
