The BFT difference
Body Fit Training (BFT) is Australia’s fastest growing and most advanced premium functional group franchise in the fitness sector, providing results-focused and time–efficient workout exercise programmes. It is first with new fitness trends to ensure its client base stays engaged with its constantly evolving and developing programmes.
BFT was founded in 2017 in Melbourne, Australia by fitness industry veteran Cameron Falloon. In April, 2018, the company launched to the public with its first four franchises in Melbourne. BFT has now cornered the fitness market with 230+ locations and over 50,000 members across Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, USA, and the UK. The Australian fitness franchise has seen amazing growth both locally and internationally, with almost 400 territories globally, with many more in various stages of negotiation.
In October, 2021, BFT was acquired by Xponential Fitness (XPOF: NYSE) for USD $44 million. However, Founder of BFT, Cameron Fallon, remains in equal charge, and is currently serving Body Fit Training as joint CEO. He believes that current demand indicates the company could reach 150 locations within a few years. “By expanding BFT into the UK market now, franchisees will have a unique chance to get in on the ground level of a premium and in-demand service with strong profit potential,” Falloon said.
BFT offers a community-based 50-minute functional training and strength-based program across 13 workouts. The Aussie fitness company uses science and technology-based training techniques to drive individual member health goals in an inclusive, coach-led group environment.
By combining cardio with resistance programs, members benefit from training a different energy system and different muscle types every day to diversify movement patterns that aim to reduce fat and create lean muscle. Members get the very best, most effective workout by learning how to fully utilize the best-in-class equipment BFT offers, from barbells, squat racks, kettlebells, slamballs, plyometric boxes, and battle ropes, to resistance bands, Concept 2 SkiErg’s, RowErgs, and bikes.
BFT’s rapid industry success has been acclaimed after the fitness company was awarded Franchise of the Year at APAC’s Fit Summit two years running, in both 2020 and 2021, demonstrating business owners have a great chance of success with this dynamic fitness business.
The company are currently on the lookout for more franchisees across the UK and Ireland, after opening two branches in the UK over the last few months.
