The Cbweed story started in 2017 in the Italian city of Forli in a group of nine friends interested in the wide range of possible uses for cannabis. The legalization of certain products containing cannabis in more and more EU countries certainly helped.
Cbweed deals with the production of legal cannabis and its subsequent processing into products such as CBD oils, hemp cosmetics, CBD capsules, hemp foods, drinks and others.Two months after the founding of the company, it opened its first brick-and-mortar store in Forli. Soon its products began to be sold in shops and stands all over Italy.
That was the moment when It became clear that expansion to the European market was feasible. Currently, Cbweed products are sold all over the European Union. The business morphed into a franchise with 38 open across the EU. While most of its stores are located in Italy some also exist in Czechia, Poland, Estonia, Latvia, Spain and Portugal. The catalog offer now contains more than 150 products with guaranteed 100% natural origin CBD oils, CBD flowers, hemp foods and beverages, natural cosmetics, animal care products, pasta and others.
Breaking the myths
The company aims to break what it perceives as common myths and negative ideas about cannabis. It wants to lead people out of their old ways of thinking and to show them the wide spectrum of positive effects of products containing cannabis for humans and animals alike.
The company has its Growers Department, a team of growers where quality of production is controlled. The company also cooperates with large companies in the sector. Probably the most valuable is that established with the Dutch company “Green House Seeds” with whom Cbweed has created a series of products intended for its stores and offered in coffeeshops in Amsterdam.
Store design part of the deal
The franchisee has to find the location. The franchise team of interior designers takes care of organizing the actual store and its furniture.All Cb Weed franchise stores follow the same store design, which has been designed and created by its professional interior designers. It offers the franchisees exclusivity in distribution of CB Weed products in their areas. The company has web designers who help with the creation of flyers and posters for the inauguration event as well as business cards and product brochures. The CB Weed marketing team helps not only with graphics and local advertising planning but also with the presence on social networks and email marketing. A training course for owners and sales staff is offered with the emphasis on being able to give customers accurate information on the cannabis products on offer.
